Ming Brush
Take up the brush and command the formations of Ming Cult. Gather the sacred flames, train with Wang Yin and begin your first battles as a Ming Brush disciple.

Plant your Formation, catch enemies within its reach and strike with the Ming Brush. Each Formation has its own role, from weakening defenses to slowing an enemy's escape.

Begin the Fire Seed trial
Visit Fang La in Ming Cult and choose I want to join Ming Cult. Follow the teachers in order to gather four sacred flames. If a flame or outfit cannot enter your bag, clear the required space and speak to the same teacher again.
Before you begin
Requirement Details Character Level 10 or higher. Complete the Beginner Mission first. School You must not belong to another school or have another school joining trial in progress. Inventory Keep four slots free for the four flames. Trial items Receive one flame from each of four teachers. Keep all four until you reach Deng Yuan Jie. Your path to Ming Brush
Start with Fang La. Follow each teacher, gather the four flames, return to Fang La, then choose Ming Brush with Wang Yin.

Return to Wang Yin in Ming Cult (195/189). Choose I want to join Ming Brush to become his Formation disciple. Keep four inventory slots free for your branch equipment. If the equipment cannot enter your bag, clear space and choose the same joining option again. Choose Ming Brush before joining another Ming Cult branch. Wang Yin does not accept disciples who already chose a different branch. Your potential points reset when you join. Open your character attributes and assign them again. Joining again does not give another starter package.
