Dali Royal Crisis Part 3: The Plume Of Phoenix

Reach level 54 before the Phoenix Eyes Cave collections. Use the Plume of Phoenix within 20 minutes of receiving it.

Story

The Mt. Miao Tag points to Phoenix Eyes Cave. After a timed Khyung hunt, Dong Jia Luo asks Senior Dame Sh'e to help settle an old family matter.

Before You Start

• Keep room for 10 Saber of Ruler, the Mt. Miao Tag, 10 Midnight Tiger tooth, 10 White Roc Feathers, and the Plume of Phoenix.
• Plan a direct route from Mo Third in XiangYang to Phoenix Eyes Cave before taking the timed plume.
• Bring 25 Gold, equal to 2,500 Silver, for five quest dishes. Each dish costs 5 Gold.
• Keep one backpack slot free for each purchase. Move an existing dish from expanded storage into the backpack before speaking with its vendor.

Route

1. 1Speak with Chen Li Heng at Dali (183/178).
2. 2In Swallow Cave 2, defeat Ruler of Miao Mountain and collect 10 Saber of Ruler.
3. 3Speak with the Chief of Miao Ridge at Miao Mountain (162/196).
4. 4Defeat the Chief of Miao Ridge in Swallow Cave 2, recover the Mt. Miao Tag, and report to the Chief of Miao Ridge.
5. 5Return through Zheng Guan Zhi at Dali (199/183) to Gao Sheng Quan at Dali (192/190).
6. 6Reach level 54. In Phoenix Eyes Cave on Dian Chang Mountain, collect 10 Midnight Tiger tooth from Midnight Tiger enemies and 10 White Roc Feathers from Starling Bird enemies.
7. 7Report to Gao Sheng Quan, then speak with Mo Third at XiangYang (168/182) to receive the Plume of Phoenix.
8. 8Reach Phoenix Eyes Cave within 20 minutes, use the Plume of Phoenix, and defeat Khyung.
9. 9Report to Gao Sheng Quan, then Dong Jia Luo at Dali (190/178).
10. 10Speak with Senior Dame Sh'e at Yang Family (191/196).
11. 11Buy Baked Carp Noodle from the Grand Inn Owner at BianJing (185/179), Pot-Roasted Duck from the Grand Inn Owner at YangZhou (207/189), Yellow Bean Sprout from the Grand Inn Owner at QuanZhou (182/197), Jade Belt Cake from the Grand Inn Owner at XiangYang (190/182), and Pepper Rice Dumpling from the Grand Inn Owner at ChengDu (221/213). Choose “Buy one for 5 gold” at each vendor.
12. 12Return the five dishes to Senior Dame Sh'e, then report to Dong Jia Luo at Dali (190/178). Choose reimbursement of 25 Gold or 10 reputation.

Rewards

• Before buying the five dishes, this part awards 826,811 EXP, 14 Gold, 23 Silver, 18 Copper, 120 reputation, a school-route-appropriate level 52 weapon, and character-appropriate level 55 head armor.
• Choose 25 Gold reimbursement to recover the full dish cost. Your money result for this part remains 14 Gold, 23 Silver, and 18 Copper.
• Choose 10 reputation to finish with 130 reputation from this part. After the dish cost, your money result is a net loss of 10 Gold, 76 Silver, and 82 Copper.

If Progress Stops

• If the Plume of Phoenix expires or is lost, return to Mo Third at XiangYang (168/182). A replacement becomes available 30 minutes after the plume was issued.
• Use the Plume of Phoenix inside Phoenix Eyes Cave before the 20-minute timer ends, then defeat Khyung.
• Choose “Buy one for 5 gold” at each named Grand Inn Owner instead of opening the ordinary shop menu.
• A failed item grant refunds the 5 Gold. After all five dishes are delivered, Dong Jia Luo lets you choose reimbursement of 25 Gold or 10 reputation.
