North of QuanZhou: The Missing Husband Part 1: Truth Or Comfort

Story

Wu Yuan Qing’s missing husband was last seen near East Sea Shore 1. A jade pendant and the remains carried by fish monsters lead to a final choice between truth and comfort.

Before You Start

• Clear at least one bag slot before fighting Fish Monster Leader so the Langya Jade Pendant can enter your bag.
• Keep room for stacks of 5 Upper Garments and 5 Lower Garments.
• No purchased or crafted item is required.

Route

1. 1At level 50 or higher, speak with Wu Yuan Qing at North of QuanZhou (198/199). The investigation begins automatically.
2. 2Enter East Sea Shore 1, search the map, and defeat Fish Monster Leader.
3. 3Receive 1 Langya Jade Pendant and return it to Wu Yuan Qing at North of QuanZhou (198/199).
4. 4Speak with Lee Jin Yong at YangZhou (220/194) to begin both garment collections.
5. 5Defeat South Sea Inhabitants in East Sea Shore 1 until you collect 5 Upper Garments.
6. 6Defeat South Sea Soldiers in East Sea Shore 1 until you collect 5 Lower Garments.
7. 7Give both complete stacks to Lee Jin Yong at YangZhou (220/194).
8. 8Return to Wu Yuan Qing at North of QuanZhou (198/199).
9. 9Both answers complete the quest and grant your school- and body-appropriate hat. Choose “Tell the truth” for 10 additional reputation, or “Comfort her” for body-appropriate level 52 chest armor.

Rewards

• Both endings award 148,880 EXP, 74,440 Silver, 500 School Contribution, 96 reputation, and one school- and body-appropriate hat.
• Classic school routes receive a level 60 hat. Kunlun, Ming, Chui Yan, and Tang Clan’s Nimble Hero route receive a level 50 hat.
• Tell the truth: gain 10 additional reputation, for 106 total reputation from the complete quest.
• Comfort her: receive one body-appropriate level 52 chest armor. Reputation remains 96 total.

If Progress Stops

• If Fish Monster Leader is absent, leave East Sea Shore 1 and enter again. If it still does not appear, wait briefly and search the map again.
• If the Langya Jade Pendant did not enter your bag, free one slot and defeat Fish Monster Leader again.
• A nearby party member receives credit only when they are on the same quest step.
• If garment collection stops after reconnecting, speak with Lee Jin Yong again before hunting.
• If the final school hat cannot enter your bag, clear one slot and speak with Wu Yuan Qing again.
