Fan Zhong Yan’s South of ChengDu Mission Part 1: Fan Zhong Yan’s Tests

Story

Fan Zhong Yan tests your judgment and sends you through Tang Clan and Beggar Sect before trusting you with the trouble gathering around Jiangjin Village.

Before You Start

• Bring the Beginner Mission Letter for Fan Zhong Yan.
• Keep room for Wolf bone wine, Token of FanZhongYan, The lost parcel, and Mail to FanZhongYan.

Route

1. 1Give the Beginner Mission Letter to Fan Zhong Yan at South of ChengDu (196/182).
2. 2Speak with Tang Ji at Tang Clan (202/171).
3. 3Collect 10 copies of “AardWolf Bone” from Aardwolves and 10 copies of “Green wolf bone” from Green Wolves, then return to Tang Ji.
4. 4Collect 8 copies of “Crystal flower” from Deadly Archers and return to Tang Ji to receive Wolf bone wine.
5. 5Bring the Wolf bone wine to Fan Zhong Yan at South of ChengDu (196/182).
6. 6Speak with the ChengDu Governor at ChengDu (223/217), then return to Fan Zhong Yan for Token of FanZhongYan.
7. 7Give Token of FanZhongYan to Hong Qi at Beggar sect (190/203).
8. 8Open F11 and follow the Beggar's Disciple mission target on the road to Wild Boar's Forest.
9. 9Defeat the Spry Robber and Thief, recover The lost parcel, and return it to the Beggar's Disciple.
10. 10Report to Hong Qi at Beggar sect (190/203), then return Mail to FanZhongYan to Fan Zhong Yan at South of ChengDu (196/182).

Rewards

• This part awards 8,260 EXP, 4,232 Silver, 88 reputation, and character-appropriate level 14 head armor.

If Progress Stops

• Continue through Fan Zhong Yan’s full opening conversation. There is no separate accept option.
• If Fan Zhong Yan does not begin the mission, make sure the Beginner Mission Letter is still in your bag, then speak with him again.
• Stay with the named monster until each item count is complete. The route does not advance from kills alone when it asks for a dropped item.
