Wang Ye Wei To Xia Hou Qin Part 3: The Broken Golden Needle

Recommended level 30 to 34. Bring healing for Clear Creek Cave, Tian Yin enemies, and Mount Wuyi.

Story

Lei Sheng’s death leaves a broken needle and a map fragment. The trail ends beneath a Mount Wuyi shrine, where Xia Hou Qin’s hidden treasure is recovered.

Before You Start

• Keep one free bag slot and 2 carrying weight for Mystery map (Left), Mystery Map (Right), the completed Mystery map, one Pickax, and the Mystery treasure.
• Buy one Pickax from a Grocery Storekeeper for 500 Silver before travelling to the Mount Wuyi shrine.

Route

1. 1Inspect Lei Sheng’s corpse in Clear Creek Cave, then report to Xia Hou Qin at YangZhou (223/197).
2. 2Return to the corpse and inspect it again to receive Mystery map (Left).
3. 3Defeat the Tian Yin Warrior named by the quest and recover Mystery Map (Right).
4. 4Bring the fragment to Xia Hou Qin so he can combine the Mystery Map.
5. 5Buy one Pickax from a Grocery Storekeeper for 500 Silver.
6. 6Travel to the shrine at Mount Wuyi (167/195) and right-click the Mystery Map.
7. 7Recover the Mystery treasure and return it to Xia Hou Qin.
8. 8Deliver the treasure to Tang Ning at Mount Wuyi (177/184), then return to Xia Hou Qin to close the main investigation.

Rewards

• Completing the treasure search awards 25,628 EXP, 12,820 Silver, 40 reputation, and a school-route-appropriate level 34 weapon.

If Progress Stops

• Inspect Lei Sheng’s corpse twice when the quest asks. The second inspection gives you Mystery map (Left).
• Defeat the specified Tian Yin Warrior for Mystery Map (Right). Other enemies do not advance this stage.
• Right-click the completed Mystery Map at the Mount Wuyi shrine at Mount Wuyi (167/195). The Pickax must be in your bag.
• The completed Mystery map and Pickax are consumed when the treasure is recovered. If the Pickax is missing, buy another from a Grocery Storekeeper.
