Wang Ye Wei To Xia Hou Qin Part 4: Fire Kirin Blood

Recommended level 34 or higher. The continuation includes Twin Waters Cave 1 and 2 and the Fire Kirin fight.

Story

A later letter and the Flying Golden Needle reopen the case. Tang Clan, Twin Waters Cave, a missing package, and the Fire Kirin bring the Xiahou story to its choice ending.

Before You Start

• Keep Lei Sheng’s Letter and the Golden needle if they are still waiting in your bag.
• Keep room for Tail of scorpion, Wrapper of Mr.Zhang, Grey ape fur, Silver fox fur, clay, rouge ingredients, the Phoenix Hairpin, and Fire Kirin blood.

Route

1. 1Right-click Lei Sheng’s Letter and deliver it to Feng Tonger at YangZhou (208/199).
2. 2Right-click the Golden needle and speak with Tang Chun at Tang Clan (207/174).
3. 3Collect 20 Tail of scorpion from Giant Scorpions at Dream Cloud Mere, then return to Tang Chun.
4. 4Speak with Tang Ning at Mount Wuyi (177/184) and Xia Hou Qin at YangZhou (223/197), then begin the parallel strange-beast investigation with Zhang Bo Han at YangZhou (214/194).
5. 5Break and defeat the Worn Sack near the Twin Waters Cave entrance at Mount Wuyi to obtain Wrapper of Mr.Zhang. Return it to Zhang Bo Han at YangZhou (214/194).
6. 6Speak with Lee Jin Yong at YangZhou (220/194). Give him 1 Grey ape fur, then separately give him 1 Silver fox fur.
7. 7Speak with Liu Xuan Qing at YangZhou (197/194), defeat 30 Spear Gods in Twin Waters Cave, then return to him.
8. 8Use the Empty Bottle in the middle of Twin Waters Cave 1 to collect clay.
9. 9Speak with Qiu Rong at YangZhou (209/189), then Jiang Wei at YangZhou (209/202).
10. 10Collect 1 Dark Smoke from a Shadow Soul in Jiangjin Village, 1 Beehive from a Hornet in Apricot Blossom Village, and 1 Powder Box from an Expert Swordswoman in Seven Stars Cave 2. Gather 1 Red Sand with Gathering Skill level 10 or higher, or obtain it from another player.
11. 11Return to Qiu Rong to make the rouge.
12. 12Recover the Phoenix Hairpin from a Chi Huo Cult Follower in Twin Waters Cave 2.
13. 13Defeat the Fire Kirin and report to Qiu Rong.
14. 14Return through Tang Chun, Tang Ning, and Xia Hou Qin as the quest directs.
15. 15Ask Xia Hou Qin about Xia Hou Lian and choose “I have the Fire Kirin Blood” to complete the investigation.

Rewards

• The continuation awards 391,114 EXP, 159,562 Silver, 312 reputation, character-appropriate level 36 chest armor and level 39 head armor, and character-appropriate level 44 chest armor.

If Progress Stops

• Continue the strange-beast investigation until it sends you back to Tang Chun. Return to him immediately.
• Use the Empty Bottle in the middle of Twin Waters Cave 1 when you are sent to collect clay.
• To finish the investigation, ask Xia Hou Qin about Xia Hou Lian and choose “I have the Fire Kirin Blood.” Asking only about the ChiHuo Cult does not finish it.
